Covering 1 in 4 car buyers, sub-prime was the fastest-growing sector in motor finance. Yet many dealerships couldn’t arrange suitable loans – costing them business. Blue Motor Finance offered more flexible rates, with fast decisions. We just needed to tell UK dealerships about it – and persuade them to switch.
Creative thinking
With a proposition of ‘flexible finance, competitive rates and answers in 15 minutes mean you’ll sell more cars’, we created a twin-pronged campaign.
The first aimed at the industry’s sales people; the second aimed at the decision makers – CEOs of the 50 biggest car dealerships.
Results
Take-up by dealerships was so good, the first year’s target was achieved within three months.
